Using geolocation has also allowed users to find the location of a bus and to follow it in real time. Personalized alarms have also facilitated each user\u2019s trip management. The platform also enables the users to rent a self-serve car from Communauto.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-22fa5c67 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"22fa5c67\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-13885441 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"13885441\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-27d84ef3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"27d84ef3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Integrating a Third Party<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7fc2ab31 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7fc2ab31\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>After an agreement between the RTC and the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de Transport de L\u00e9vis (STL\u00e9vis), we overcame a sizeable challenge; we integrated STL\u00e9vis\u2019 API and new data sources in the \u2018\u2018Nomade Temps R\u00e9el\u2019\u2019 app. We were able to do so in spite of the divergent data structure of the two apps and in such a way that they could evolve in a synchronous matter. Indeed, we added several functionnalities over time, including STL\u00e9vis, Communauto and \u00e0V\u00e9lo add-ons. Thanks to its personalized alerts system, the RTC Nomade app has become the public transit users\u2019 essential tool to travel around the City of Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lastly, the Nomade RTC app won the Leadership prize, awarded by the Canadian Urban Transit Association during the Global Public Transport Summit in 2017. As for the Mobilit\u00e9 intelligence \u2013 STI prize, presented by the Association qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des transports, it highlights RTC Nomade\u2019s functionnalities\u2019 innovative
